Unhealthy diets based on junk food, fat and sugar, can leave you deficient in nutrients required to make energy and heal. They can also lead to obesity and low grade inflammation (metaflammation), which is linked to disease and pain syndromes.
Healthy diets include the Mediterranean diet and the Healthy Eating Plate Diet.
If you have food allergies or food sensitivities these diets will however need to be modified to suit. Or an alternative dietary approach may be recommended to you by your health practitioner.
